The September 7, 2010 County Executive and County Council Primary Election

The Cuyahoga County Board of Elections advises voters to prepare for the historic September 7, 2010 Primary Election by becoming familiar with the new county government system.  For the first time, voters will cast ballots for Partisan Candidates running for 11 County Council District seats and County Executive.

All Cuyahoga County voters now live in one of the new districts and should become familiar with its boundaries.  Maps are available on the Board of Elections website: www.boe.cuyahogacounty.us.

Democratic, Republican, and Minor Party candidates are running for County Executive and County Council in the September 7, 2010 Primary Election.  The winning Primary Election candidates from each party and Independent Candidates will be on the November 2, 2010 General Election ballot.

Vote by Mail allows voters extra time to study candidates and issues at home.  Vote by Mail ballot applications are available at public libraries, the Board of Elections, 2925 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, and the Board of Elections website: www.boe.cuyahogacounty.us or by calling the Board of Elections at 216-443-3298.

Voters should check their voting information prior to each election.  Voters may confirm their ward, precinct, voting location, and County Council District at the Board of Elections website: www.boe.cuyahogacounty.us or by calling 216-443-3298.
