National Gay and Lesbian Task Force sent staff member Trystan Reese to work with our Field Director Jennifer Dowd, and all of our volunteers. Trystan didn't have to come, and the Task Force didn't have to send him -- so we wanted to make sure to thank the Task Force for their assistance with our work, and thank Trystan for making the trip.
During the time Trystan was in Cleveland, he helped us increase our productivity and effectiveness. This was an incredible help to Ask Cleveland. Visit the NGLTF web site and give them your support.
Progressive Urban Real Estate has allowed us to use their office for phone banks twice a week since February.
Thank you Dave Sharkey, Keith Brown, and Linda Yeager!
The Phoenix Project Church lets us use their computer center for our data entry sessions every Monday.
Thank you Rev. Meredith White-Zeager!
Cleveland LGBT Pride Center lets us use their office for trainings, and as a staging location for canvasses.
They also gave us use of the office as our logistics center for the September 8 Primary Election Day.

Cleveland Families Count was an organization that formed to defend the domestic partnership registry against a possible repeal by ballot measure. CFC announced in June that they were ceasing their operations and dividing their remaining money between Ask Cleveland and the Cleveland Stonewall Democrats. We'd like to thank the Cleveland Families Count officers -- Sue Doerfer of the Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Community Center of Greater Cleveland, Lynne Bowman of Equality Ohio, and John Farina of Cleveland Stonewall Democrats -- and the rest of their board for their generous financial support of our work.
Bruegger's Bagels, at Cedar & Fairmount, is donating food and beverages for our canvasses. Thank you Terry!

A phone call gives the individual a chance to ask questions and is much more productive than an e-mail blast.
